Delhi- the commercial hub has many tourist attractions to offer. Visit vibrant shopping complex of Connaught Place, Delhi Haat for handicraft goods and delicious food bonanza. Pay a visit to Red Fort and Qutub Minar to view the excellence of Mughal architecture.
Visit Old Delhi- the former center of Mughal power which offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling markets. Visit the Red Fort built in 1648 by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan famous for his great edifice of love the Taj Mahal. Visit the recent jewel in the crown, Lotus Temple and then drive on to see the tallest tower in Delhi, known as Qutub Minar, which declared the arrival and rise of Islam in India.

One of the best ways of getting a magnificent view of the Garhwal Himalayas is through the Panch Kedar trek. The Panch Kedar trek includes all the five shrines associated with the Hindu legends. All of them are situated in the Kedar Valley. At Kedarnath, which is situated at the head of the Mandakini River, the Linga is a natural rock that resembles the hump of a bull. Madhmaheshwar, situated at the base of Chaukhamba Peak is at an altitude of 3500 m. Here the Linga is worshipped in the form of a navel. Tungnath, where tha arm of Shiva appeared is the highest temple in Garhwal is situated at an altitude of 3810 m. 500 m above the temple at Tungnath is Chandrashila.

Uttaranchal Tour
History
The present state of Uttaranchal was earlier as part of the United Province of Agra and Awadh which came into existence in 1902. In 1935, the name of the state was shortened to the United Province. In January 1950, the United Province was renamed as Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal remained a part of Uttar Pradesh before it came into being on 9 November 2000, the 27th state of India.
SUMMARY
Uttaranchal formerly a part of Uttar Pradesh was formed on November 9th, 2000 as the 27th state of the Indian Union. Calm, peaceful and serene, Uttaranchal is one of the places in India where heaven convene with earth. Apart from its natural beauty and centers of pilgrimage, state is equally rich in its culture. People, language, monuments, temples, folk dances, traditional music, festivals and fairs contribute to its cultures. Most of the Hindu kings, in ancient time, migrated to this state from various part of the country. As a result, society of Uttaranchal consists 70 % of Rajputs, 20% of Brahmans and 10 % of remaining comprises other communities and castes. People from Garhwal and Kumaon are separating themselves from rest of the Indian population as they called “Pahari” (people from the mountains). 90 % of the population in uttaranchal is Hindu. The main language which is used by the major population in Uttaranchal is Garhwali. Mellifluous songs and verses in Garhwali not only give pleasure to the listener but also flourish rich culture of Uttaranchal.

Nainital
"NAINITAL" was founded in the year 1841 by Mr. P. Barron, a European merchant and an enthusiastic hunter from Rosa, near Shahjahanpur. Mr.P.Barron was the first European who took great fancy to this land.
A small town in the hills of Kumaon, Nainital is a lovely hill station surrounded by mountains on three sides. Once this area had many lakes and it was called the City of 60 lakes or 'Chakta'. The most prominent of the lakes is Naini lake ringed by hills . Nainital has a varied topography . Some of the important places in the district are Nainital , Haldwani , Kaladhungi , Ramnagar , Bhowali , Ramgarh , Mukteshwar , Bhimtal , Sattal and Naukuchiatal . Nainital is situated at a height of 6,350 feet above sea-level, surrounded on three sides by the misty Himalayan mountains.The three mountains surrounding Nainital are Naina (2615 meters) ,Deopatha (2438 meters) and Ayarpatha (2278 meters). Naina is the highest among the three.
Ranikhet
Ranikhet is situated in the northern part of the state of Uttaranchal, in the northern region of India. It is situated in the Kumaon hills and is located on an altitude of 1829 m above sea level. Ranikhet is 59 km from Nainital and 50 km from Almora.Ranikhet is the place which wonderfully mirrors best of the heavenly Himalayas; their lush green forest, magestic mountains delicate plant life and attractive plant life.
MUSSOURIE
Popularly called the "queen of the hills", this wonderful place is famous for its scenic beauty and towering snow clad mountains present awe-inspiring view.Mussoorie is situated at a distance of of about 250 miles from Delhi. This is a very well known hill station. It has been accorded the title of the 'queen of hills' for its stupendous beauty. The scenic beauty of the place drag tourists from different parts of India. DACHIGAM
Dachigam was at one time the exclusive hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Kashmir. It contains the last viable hangul population, related to the red deer of Europe, with a white rump patch and impressive spread of antlers. Dachigam National Park enjoys a proximity to the beautiful city of Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir state. The royal family of Kashmir first offered protection to the area as a game reserve in the early 1900s. Over the years, adjoining grassy slopes and high-altitude lakes were included in the reserve, so that today the altitudinal range of the park, demarcated into Upper and Lower Dachigam, extends from 1,700 to 4,200 m.
PAHALGAM
At an altitude of 2,130m and about 95-km from Srinagar , Pahalgam is probably the most popular hill resort in the Kashmir valley.Pahalgam is a Holiday resort famous for rishing(best april-september),nearby picnic spots and saffron fields.95 kms east of Srinagar at the junction of East and West Lidder rivers is a popular trekking base.The town is flanked by fir-clad hills giving way to snow capped mountains.
SRINAGAR – SONMARG
Sonmarg which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. Sonmarg also called Meadow of Gold is located at a height of 2690 meters. The drive to Sonamarg is through the Sindh Valley which presents spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer.
AMARNATH YATRA
One of the holy trinity, Shiva is a living god. Legend has it that Shiva recounted to Parvati the secret of creation in the Amarnathji cave. Due to the high altitude location, the cave is covered with snow for most part of the year. It is only during a short period in summer that devotees are able to undertake a journey up to the cave. The trek to Amarnathji, in the month of Shravan (July - August) has the devout flock to this incredible shrine, where the image of Shiva, in the form of a lingam, is formed naturally of an ice - stalagmite, and which waxes and wanes with the moon. By its side are , fascinatingly, two more ice - lingams, that of Parvati and of their son, Ganesha. The annual yatra to Holy Amarnath Cave, situated at 14000 ft. above sea level, is organised by the State Government during the month of July and August.
